Overview
Kübler-Ross's five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) reshaped palliative medicine. Her later work collected NDE and deathbed vision accounts from dying patients across cultures and age groups, including blind patients who described visual experiences at death. She became a public advocate for the survival hypothesis.
